One Skein Wonders - Raindrops scarf
1 skein of raindrops
1 pair of 6 mm needles
Cast on 40 stitches
Knit 12 rows garter stitch
After 12 rows knit 6 stitches garter stitch at the beginning of each row and 6 stitches at the end of each row with stocking stitch in between.
To improve the edge, slip stitch the first stitch of each row.
The garter stitch at each end will provide a border for your scarf and will stop the stocking stitch from curling.
Knit until you have 15 metres of yarn left. Use this yarn to knit 12 rows of garter stitch to complete your scarf.
Use a tapestry sewing needle to sew the beginning and ending threads into the knitting.
Variation: knit the whole scarf in garter stitch or any stitch of your own choice.
