Yarnhub posts a few days per week but not necessarily on set days. All purchases will be shipped via Australia Post unless requested otherwise. All Australia Post items can now be tracked so it is easy to find out where they are in transit and when they have been delivered. You can specify Express Post but this is not available at all locations. Also, we can not guarantee same day postage. We will always attempt to post the next day.
International shipping will be priced individually.
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based.
Insurance, registered post and express post are optional. Please inform us if you wish to avail yourself of these.
Often we use Australia post pre-paid satchels but due to the bulkiness of some items such as wool yarn, 5kgs of wool will not fit into the size of 5kg satchel. It is for this reason that we do not include this as a shipping option on our website. If there is a substantial difference between the calculated postage costs and the actual costs, we will refund the difference, usually via your credit card or Paypal.
Please choose carefully. Refunds are not automatically given if you are unhappy with your product choice. We will not refund if you change your mind or if you misread or misinterpret information on the website.
You may return most new, unopened items within 14 days of delivery for a full refund. We will only pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within two weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button.
